Without the Israel Defense Forces (IDF),
there is no Israel
Every day, these courageous soldiers put their lives on the line to keep Israel safe. Our life’s work is to befriend, support and give solace to the young men and women who protect Israel and Jewish people worldwide. There is no better way to bless Israel then by supporting the brave men and women of the IDF who every day risk their lives to serve and protect Israel and the Jewish people.
Who we are
Unlike the United States, where military service is voluntary, national military service is mandatory for most Israeli citizens, both men and women, starting at age 18. While the IDF provides for their basic needs, there is so much more that we can do to lighten their burden and allow them to serve with focus and dignity.
While most soldiers are supported by their families, not all have that support system. FIDF is honored to stand in the gap for these heroes.
