For more than forty years, the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces has offered life-changing educational, cultural, recreational, and social service programs and facilities that impact the lives of the men and women in the IDF and bless families across Israel.

We provide soldiers in the IDF with essential care and supportive services to lighten the burden on them and their families—so that they can serve with focus and dignity.

The Friends of the Israel Defense Forces operates with the utmost integrity and maintains the highest standards of financial accountability and transparency.
FIDF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and has consistently received the highest ratings for accountability and transparency from two of the leading independent charity evaluators:
Charity Navigator and Charity Watch, receiving the highest 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the 11th year in a row now—a feat accomplished by only 2% of charities in America—and Charity Watch has bestowed FIDF with their “Top-Rated” seal.
FIDF is also the sole organization authorized to collect charitable donations on behalf of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces across the United States of America.
